Considering that the Postal Authority for the Arabian Gulf Countries was the General Post Office under the name of the British Postal Authorities for the Arabian Gulf. This meant that the stamps for one state were valid for use in any another.
Philatelists taking advantage this created a number of cross-over covers - covers using stamps from one state on another.
In this case a very rare of BPAEA used in UK.
