The first book of the Qatar Philatelic History has been published.
It covers all the stamps issued and even some that have been designed but not released up to the end of Sheikh Ali Bin Abdulla Al Thani's Reign.
These are mostly English stamps issued by the British Postal Agencies in Eastern Arabia along with some rare and unique covers.
The book examines Qatar's history using stamps and postal history. When appropriate, supporting documents are included.
